Mentor Tech Checks
Ahead of your first MyRoad session, and after your online training modules are complete and you have your Working with Children Check, you’ll be invited to book in for a 1-hour group tech check. Tech checks are held via videoconferencing technology – the same technology you’ll be using in MyRoad mentoring sessions.
The tech check is your chance to ask questions about the program and become familiar with the technology you’ll be using to engage with your mentees. During the tech check, the Online team will show you how to share your screen and play videos, as well as talking you through the session runsheet and topics you’ll be discussing. It’s also a chance for you to meet other first-time MyRoad mentors.
We encourage you to book yourself in to a tech check by RSVPing on the calendar below.
If you need to cancel a tech check booking, or none of the times below suit, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 1300 935 627 and let us know or suggest another time.
We look forward to seeing you in a tech check soon.
Have you recently done your first MyRoad session and would like a chance to get advice from the MyRoad team or other mentors? Or perhaps you’d like to share your experiences with others. Book into one of our sessions in the calendar below marked “Post-Session Advice” and we’ll be happy to answer any of your questions.
Please note that for your tech check you’ll need a computer (tablets and phones not suitable) with webcam and microphone, and ideally a headset or earphones.
At the time of your MyRoad tech check please connect to Zoom by copying and pasting the following Zoom link into your browser – https://zoom.us/j/8939288674
You can also access the Zoom link via your Outlook Calendar invite that the Online team will send to you shortly.
If you experience any issues logging in to Zoom please call the MyRoad hotline on 1300 935 627.
